William Dorich

William Dorich is a Self-Published author of 9 books on Balkan history and music. His new book, Defeat Foreclosure, utilizes 20 years of residential real estate experience in Beverly Hills and Westwood, California. Bill is a certified Short Sale specialist and has done numerous loan modifications, trust sales and foreclosures. This past year Bill arranged a loan modification for Mrs. T. Phillips in Pennsylvania who was recently widowed. He successfully reduced her 7.25% mortgage rate to 4.7% and paid off the home equity loan at $0.30 cents on the dollar—making it possible for the widow to remain in her home and stay within her retirement income. Merle H. Horwitz

Merle H. Horwitz grew up in Pasadena, California. He graduated from the University of Southern California in the 1950s. Thereafter he attended Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and UCLA. He engaged primarily in trial work representing at times various celebrities in domestic related cases. His newest book is called Judgment Hours, a novel about one of his celebrity cases... you might recognize the Janis Joplin era. Merle's previous book is: Love is Love... But Business is Business, a book about the legal aspects of co-habitation. The first edition of this book was published in the 1980s and Merle was among the first in the legal profession to propose that rights arise when people live together depending on individual facts. Merle was a member of the California Bar, the Beverly Hills Bar and the Century City Bar. He also tried cases in a half dozen other states and wrote another Harvey Ace book and when that all got boring he wrote The Great Deli Cookbook... It was a great success.
